Hi, I’m Brie…aka The Noshing Mama.
Here’s the skinny: I’m not a chef. I have no formal training. I’m not Martha Stewart…Paula Dean…or Giada de Laurentiis. I am simply a wife and a mother of two boys who has the desire to share her love for food and all things kitchen related (Girlfriend LOVES a Williams-Sonoma catalogue) as well as to explore what it means to preserve “The Family Table.”
What is “The Family Table”? It is…SO many things, to so many people. But to me, it is the place where you come not only to be fed physically, but emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and unconditionally. It is the place where you are you, and every facet of YOU is welcome.
This blog is hash of recipes, stories, memories, musings, and mine and my family’s journey. I want to walk through life together with you; whether that means doing so one recipe at a time, or one story at a time. In my recipes, I will make mention of what worked, what didn’t work, and any solutions, tips, or hacks I discovered along the way.
Life, much like my kitchen, is messy. It is full of flavors and aromas, masterpieces and missteps. And I want you to see it all.

I am 100% an advocate for family dinner time. We have no room for a dining table currently but I so deeply believe in that time I lay a cloth down on the floor every night for dinner and “set the table” it’s precious family time for sure, plus gives me the opportunity to teach my kids to set the table/help clean up😊
